Raisin bread

Raisin bread can not only decorate the breakfast table, but can also be a perfect accompaniment to family moments at any time of the day. The smell of freshly baked delicacies smuggles an intimate warmth into the walls of your home, as it awakens everyone's appetite, and you can make your family's day truly special with homemade bread. Pack a snack of your own bread for your children and yourself.

Our recipe is again from the ANKARSRUM recipe book.

Recipe:

50 grams of yeast

550 ml of milk

1 tablespoon of honey

2 teaspoons of salt

250 grams of raisins

660-720 grams of flour

 

Raisin bread step by step:

• Assemble the machine with the stainless steel bowl, included in the basic set, the kneading spiral hook and the kneading roller, as well as the scraper for the mixing bowl, which prevents the dough from sticking to the walls of the bowl.

• Crumble the yeast into the bowl with the milk heated to 37℃. Gradually pour in the milk.

• Then add honey, salt and raisins. Finally, add the flour little by little. Let the machine knead until the dough separates from the edge of the bowl, this is approx. 10-12 minutes.

• Then place the lid on the bowl and set the dough aside for 1 hour to rise.

• Now divide the dough into three parts and shape it into the desired bread shape. Leave to rise for another hour under a kitchen towel.

• Set the oven to 220 ℃. If you have the opportunity, turn on the steam function on the oven, if your oven does not have steam, put a heat-resistant container filled with water in the oven. The steam effect will still be available. Bake for approx. for 30 minutes.

ANKA tip:

Since the bread has a sweet taste, serve it with homemade spiced butter so that the flavors can dance with each other!
