It's time to try the smash burger genre! The secret lies in freshly minced meat, which you can make yourself at home with a high-performance meat mincer. This method not only gives better taste and texture, but also takes the homemade burger experience to a new level.
Why is it worth mincing meat yourself?
The answer is simple: unbeatable taste and texture.
Ingredients (for 4 burgers):
- 400 g beef (with at least 20% fat content)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 slices of hamburger cheese
- 4 hamburger buns
Here's how to make it step by step:
1. Use a durable manual meat mincer, with a 4,5 mm hole plate. Cut the meat into strips and then add it to the machine at low speed. This slow mincing helps preserve the natural texture of the meat.
2. Season the freshly minced meat with salt and pepper to taste, then form it into 4 equal-sized balls.
3. Heat a non-stick frying pan over high heat. Add the meatballs and press them into patties about 1.5 cm thick using a hamburger press. This will make them crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.
4. Before removing from the heat, place the cheese slices on top and let them melt.
5. Place the finished burger patties in the buns - you can add lettuce, cucumber, onion, or whatever you like, but it's perfect on its own.
Tip:
If you want a truly professional experience, toast the inside of the buns with a little butter – this will bring out the flavor of the juicy meat even more.
