Gammo stories: at customer service and in the band

In January, it was 2 years ago that I joined the GAMMO team as a Croatian-speaking customer service employee. Even my joining the company was an unusual case, as I received a phone call from my friend while I was updating my resume (who did not know about my intention to look for a job), telling me to call this and this phone number, I will not regret it, it's a good job and a good team. I was not disappointed!

My colleague József B. introduced me to the work processes, and very thoroughly. After translating the website, I quickly got into the invoicing process. I also got to know the work of the warehouse and have been given additional tasks since then. In my opinion, I managed to establish a good collegial relationship with my colleagues.

The atmosphere in GAMMO is always good. Sometimes there are harder days, but it is normal at a work place. Of course, work and customers come first, but we also like to listen to each other's funny stories and problems. I know that the term "family atmosphere" has unfortunately become a cliché these days, but here we really have it. This can mostly be discovered at our company events, such as team-building trips and the now-traditional GAMMO sausage stuffing festival. What's more, we even founded a band called "B-side" with a few colleagues, and performed in front of the company's employees and their family members at an introductory concert. With great success!

As for experiences, one of my favorite and touching experiences was when an older lady called me from Croatia and told me that she couldn't place her order online, so she would place her order by phone. Since this is not possible with us, I helped him step by step until he managed to send the order through our online store. At the end, with a voice full of emotion and joy, he said that this was his first online order in his life and that he never thought he would be able to do this.
