Making homemade Christmas sausage with the Ankarsrum stand mixer

Discover the joy of making unadulterated, homemade sausage, a miracle that lasts more than 3 days. Find our recipe in the Ankarsrum recipe book. 

Ingredients:

1 kg of minced pork

0.5 kg of minced beef

30 grams of potato flour

1 teaspoon of salt

700 ml of cold water

0.5 tsp ground white pepper

0.5 tsp ground ginger

2 tsp ground spice mix

0.5 tsp ground cloves

Homemade Christmas sausage step by step:

Rinse the sausage casings and let them soak in cold water for about 1 hour.

Assemble your Ankarsrum stand mixer with the meat grinder head!

Grind the pork meat with the ANKARSRUM Assistent 4,5 mm meat mincing plate.

Mix the pork, beef and spices with the water.

Assemble your Ankarsrum with the meat mincer head part and the sausage horn set, and start the machine on low/medium speed.

Anka tip:

Don't forget to tie two knots between each sausage so you can split them in half later.
