The beach season is starting: It's time to get the lángos frying pan, the donut frying pan and the pancake maker!

Lángos

There isn't a person who, when traveling to Lake Balaton, doesn't think of the lángos. If you close your eyes, you'll probably see people on the beach in the summer heat, with a giant cheese and sour cream lángos in their hands.

But can you really only eat lángos on the beach? Why not prepare this traditional Hungarian food at home?

It's true that you have to spend a little time preparing a lángos, since it's a leavened dough - but it's worth it, you can be sure! You can also freely choose the toppings!

You don't even have to flood the apartment with the smell of oil! With a gas flame table top fryer that is excellent for mobile use, you can go out onto the balcony, terrace or garden and prepare the lángos outdoors.

Pancake

Dessert is coming! Who doesn't want pancakes when they pass by a buffet? What would you say if you could also trigger this Pavlovian reflex at home - just by making your own pancakes?

We are quite sure that you also have your tried-and-true pancake recipe, which you may have learned from your mother or grandmother.. We do not want you to deviate from the path of family tradition! We just want to draw your attention to the fact that pancakes definitely belong to the authentic summer atmosphere! So head for the kitchen or the terrace with the pancake maker!

Mini donuts

And what about donuts? We were mainly thinking of the American mini donut, which has conquered Hungarian buffets and beaches lately! (The classic carnival donut can also be a good idea, but perhaps it has less to do with the atmosphere of summer.)

Making mini donuts is not complicated

Heat for approx. 2 dl of milk and mix in a bowl with 5-6 dkg of sugar and 2-3 teaspoons of powdered yeast. After resting for 10 minutes, you can add the yolks of 2 eggs, 3-4 dkg of melted butter, a little vanilla extract, then mix everything well.

A little salt, 15-20 dkg of flour, mixing, then another 10-15 dkg of flour. Then knead it into a dough, then leave it covered for 1 hour in a warm place to rise.

Roll out the risen dough to a thickness of 1 cm (use flour for this work), then make circles out of the dough, with a hole in the middle. Then let them rest for half an hour, then you can start frying. Use table top lángos fryer or standing lángos fryer.

We hope we got you in the mood for some baking! Bring the atmosphere of the beach into your home and make divine lángos, pancakes and donuts at home! You can find everything you need in our online store
